Microfiber outperforms typical PU leather as well as real leather. Its durability is incredible and it is what this brand is known for.

This brand was born when the owner and founder, Charlotte Evans, after having four girls and having gone through a lot of bags realized none of them had the style, function, or durability she wanted.

She noticed that the bags she was using looked cute from the outside but after a few months of use with four kids under five the interior of her diaper bag was disgusting so, she designed a bag with a removable interior lining that could be washed; that was the start of ELKIE & CO. The launch of “The Aberdeen” was wildly successful and still to this day is their best-selling bag.

ELKIE was inspired by her daughters: (E)mma (L)ydia, (K)ate, and (I)vy (E)vans. Three years after ELKIE was established, they had a baby boy, Wills! They live in Kansas and do everything from design to packaging from their basement which they have converted into their warehouse.
