This product is made by an environmentally & socially sustainable Californian fashion brand founded by Helga Ida Ayu, an Indonesian immigrant who resides in California. All their collections are made by many talented local artisans from Bali, Java, Sumba, Lombok, Borneo, and more to bring the finest and most genuine Indonesian local culture to the world. Each of their collections is mostly made meticulously by women from the comfort of their homes. In this way, it is easier to support them to work with the system that they love so they can support their family’s economy while playing their important roles as mothers and housewives. Their vision empowers local talents to preserve Indonesian culture and inspire today’s generation.
Their objective has always been to create meaningful pieces using locally harvested plant-based materials, vegan, recycled, organic, and other eco-friendly materials that leave a positive impact on our environment, as well as to share the stories of their female artisans and to support our local artisan community. Also, all their products are packed using sustainable packaging made from renewable and natural ingredients that are fully compostable.
