They compensate for our CO2, and most importantly they only cooperate with tanneries using highly regulated modern tanning techniques (including organic methods such as vegetable tanning and various forms of fully chromium-free tanning) and they strive to ensure that their European suppliers fully comply with all environmental regulations (often exceeding such standards), for the least possible impact on air, water, and land. All their products are crafted by hand in their factory in Holland.
