This product is made by MAIA MING DESIGN. The owner Maia Ming Fong is inspired by her Asian and Scandinavian heritage. She makes contemporary ceramics that are tactile and embody a touch of whimsy. Her collections are functional and beautiful and focus on simple and satisfying rituals in the home: like teatime, flower arrangements, cooking and mealtimes, and other small moments to savour.

Maia was born in Hawaii, studied Product Design at Stanford University, and currently lives and works outside of Barcelona. She has been designing and making things in clay since childhood. Inspired by her Asian and Scandinavian heritage, Maia’s lifestyle ceramics enhance simple rituals in the home. Contemporary classics, with a playful and tactile flair, her designs celebrate the joy in small things.
